Very hip place with small menu but tasty dishes. Definitely would recommend espresso waffle and cardamom rose latte, which is not sweet, just flavorful. As a down part is not enough indoor seating and if you are lucky and sit inside, very long line is next to you pretty much all the time and not enough comfort for this reason to enjoy your meal that much.
Took my son here for a mom, dad and me date. My lavender latte was UH-MAY-ZING! My husband and son split the breakfast burrito and raved about it. I got the French toast and although the presentation was beautiful, it was almost too many flavors and too sweet for my taste.
My girlfriend and I tried Everday Eatery in Irvine for breakfast, and let me tell you, the popularity of this place was evident from the moment I arrived. The wait time was absolutely insane, so I decided to proceed without waiting and managed to find a seat despite the restaurant being fully occupied. The entire square was abuzz, largely due to the crowd gathered here.
I ordered their breakfast burrito, and while it was decent, there were a few aspects that left room for improvement. The first thing that caught my attention was the way the potato was cut. In my opinion, it could have been diced a little more finely to enhance the overall texture and consistency of the burrito. However, the flavors were satisfactory, and it was an okay breakfast option. My girlfriend ordered scrambled eggs with spinach and potatoes, and she seemed pleased with her choice. The eggs were fluffy and well-seasoned, and the combination of spinach and potatoes added a nice touch to the dish. It's worth noting that the portion size was generous, so it definitely left her feeling satisfied.
On the beverage front, I must commend the establishment for their excellent coffee. The brew was rich, robust, and exactly what I needed to kickstart my day. It was a standout element among an otherwise average breakfast experience. I’m willing to give this place another shot and plan to return for lunch to sample their sandwiches. The bustling atmosphere and the overall reputation of the eatery make me curious to explore other offerings on their menu. Hopefully, the lunchtime experience will leave a stronger impression on me.
We had the chipotle chicken sandwich and the bacon egg sandwich with french toast and a latte. Both sandwiches were great, I prefer the bacon and egg with their spice sauce. The potatoes were a bit under cooked. Overall everything was tasted great. There was a 15min wait outside on Saturday around noon.
Love Everyday Eatery! They have the best Lemon Ricotta pancakes, get the extra honeycomb butter 🤤 and their lattes are always good! Just had their fall drink Ube maple latte and it's the best!
The only thing is they don't have a real good online ordering system and don't take phone calls. There's usually a rush and line at lunch, but they always put a note on how long it'll take to get food at the cashier!
Would add a photo of pancakes but I can't find them on my album since I have 1000+ photos and videos.
Pretty solid brunch spot. The egg sandwich was YUMMY. The sandwich was the star for me, but the salad was too sour imo. It tasted like straight lemon or vinegar on it. The pancakes were also good. However, the egg sandwich was much needed to balance the sweetness. Came out to be about $40 with tip.
Never had avocado toast with mint on it before! I love mint, but I can’t say I’ll get avocado toast again with mint. Definitely worth a try if you’re a mint fan though. My husband really enjoyed the breakfast burrito, but bring your appetite for that! Matcha green tea latte was pretty good too.
Peak hours : 10am-1pm on weekends so expect about a 20 minute wait in line before placing your order. Also, most of the seating is outside, but there are many umbrellas for shade.
Lattes were quite yummy and the French toast was great. Just the right amount of sweetness without going overboard.
